I believe I am one of very few hispanics in this area that would consider themselves "Reaganists" Conservatives. I was born and raised in Mexico and I moved here at a young age. I lived in the border, a block away from the fence dividing Mexicali B.C. and Calexico, CA. I was raised on conservative principles and educated about these. Sadly, many of my fellow Mexican's have been easily persuaded into a realm of...lets call it, for the sake of the argument, "Social Justice." Socialist's ideals are no strangers to Mexico, as the current guerrilla EPR (Ejército Popular Revolucionario, or Popular Revolutionary Army [sound familiar?]), an army based on Marxists ideals, has shown. My wife and son were born in this Country (U.S.A.) and I intend to do all that is in my power, while subscribing to legal norms, to secure a future for them. I want to inform my fellow Mexican's as to what true freedom is and purge this erroneous idea that absolute control leads to absolute freedom.
Please come to a rally against government-run health care this Tuesday, Nov. 3 in Lafayette, LA at River Ranch meeting square to see the Americans for Prosperity "Patients First" Bus Tour beginning at 11 am. Help us send a message to Washington and Congress to keep their "Hands Off Our Health Care"! You may e-mail me for more information. --J. Burland.
Hi, I found a chartered bus that is dying to go to the rally in Washington. I will be going to the meeting tomorrow night at Ivy Tech. The organizers are from Sharpsville, IN, which is where the bus will depart. They will not be at the meeting, but I will have the info with me if anyone is considering the trip.
I sincerely feel that big numbers showing up are important. I stepped out of my comfort zone tonight and went to the counter protest. It felt so right. It felt good to participate, to take action.
Thank you to the organizers. I saw on 'You Tube'--Texas Goes To Washington. Quite stirring.

Thank you! I look forward to getting to know your site!! Spreading the word is so important! Our government needs to pay attention to us!! There are a lot of people with worries and ideas to be heard. More people need to reach out to an organization that can help them feel as though they aren't alone. Thank you for being my oulet!
